Can you keep a secret?
What if I were to tell you that over 2,000 of Atlanta’s most stylish cultural enthusiasts were planning a party… at an undisclosed location… and YOU were invited. What if I also told you that it’s a secret.
Well, there is nothing I love more than divine dining and well-dressed company, and that’s why it’s no secret that Le Dîner en Blanc keeps me coming back for more each year. Hailed as the world’s most elegant pop-up picnic, and back for its third year in Atlanta, this avant-garde affair never disappoints.
Here’s what makes Le Dîner en Blanc so fabulous:
It’s always such a thrill awaiting where the secret location will be, as they don’t announce where Le Dîner en Blanc will take place until just hours before the event begins. All those attending know is that they need to show up in their most fabulous white attire and be prepared for a night they’ll never forget.
Location is everything
This year, the all-white event was held in a place I happen to know very well (perhaps TOO well, LOL!). Can you guess where? If you were thinking The Shops at Buckhead, you would be correct! As if I didn’t already love this retail spot, I now love it even more after seeing the streets transformed into a fabulous venue for dining and dancing. Not to mention that we were smack dab in the center of Atlanta’s most chic corridor surrounded by shops like Hermes, NARS, Jimmy Choo, L’Occitane, Dior, Tom Ford, and Christian Louboutin… I was in haute heaven. 🙂
The Sips, Sounds and Style
The live entertainment, tasty libations from Apothic Wine and Lanson Champagne, and the overall atmosphere had guests vibing well into the night. Dîner en Blanc not only provides the perfect atmosphere for a spectacular experience, but the fabulous style on display is what truly dazzled.
Of course, as you all know, I can’t pass up a fun photo opportunity, so I took full advantage of the photo area set up by event official sponsor, Lincoln Motor Company. And to top it all off, the night had a very magical ending that I will continue to replay in my head for weeks to come–we got to light sparklers at sunset, creating an enchanting glow to end a spontaneous evening of food, fashion, and fun.
It’s safe to say Le Dîner en Blanc keeps getting better with age… Isn’t that something we could all wish for ourselves?
