Let’s face it…It’s hard to commit to a new perfume.
You’ve got to take in a ton of factors: price, season, trend, occasion, etc. And once you’re at the counter paying a queen’s ransom for a single bottle, you can’t help but wonder, “Is this really The One?” Is this the scent I will be wearing for months to come? Well, if you get cold feet and can’t commit to one perfume, say hello to Scentbird, the perfume subscription service that understands picky perfume buyers!
With a motto stating that you can “date” perfumes before “marrying” them, Scentbird lets you explore your nose’s truest desires, without any scent commitment. Here’s how it works:
Sign up for a $14.95 monthly Scentbird subscription, and every 30 days you can choose a new perfume to sample. It’s that simple! Each month Scentbird will send you the fragrance you’ve been dying to try. And with a chic roster of designer scents, including Burberry, Dior, Jimmy Choo, Tom Ford and endless others, Scentbird is the perfect way score the seasons’ hautest scents without breaking your beauty budget. And they give you much more than those cheap roll-on samples – 50% more, in fact! Oh, and men can also up their scent game thru Scentbird Men too! Score!!!
As a wishy-washy perfumista myself, I was so excited to try this service! After searching through Scentbird’s selection of over 350 scents, I chose a delightful Carolina Herrera fragrance. It even came with a fabulous reusable case for next month’s new fragrance (and the next, and the next…). The chic little case is purse-perfect for a quick spritz on-the-go! Scentbird also offers TruScent™ Recommender to make the selection process even more simpler. You can choose your next fragrance based on reviews, the occasion, or your personality. You can also rate your previous perfume so that your future recommendations better fit your fancy! How chic is that?!
I love the idea of “dating” a fragrance, because – let’s be honest – every outfit begs for its own special scent! So when you’re just not sure if you’re looking for a floral fragrance or perhaps something sultrier, rest assured that you can now peruse both perfumes without fully committing to either one. Talk about shopping with “no strings attached!” 😉
Disclaimer: Scentbird provided me with a scent sample to try, however all opinions expressed are my own.
Great idea! I’ll be checking them out! It’s just too many perfumes out there to buy them all!
I like the way you explain about the different fragrance offered by Scentbird. I agree with you totally “dating” a fragrance. I have to check out thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome Patrice!
I’ve starting to see more and more about this service. I like the idea of trying different scents.
It’s a really cool concept Stacie. And you cant beat the price either. 🙂
I never knew such a thing existed. I rarely buy perfume because I never know what I’m going to like. This might be my solution.
This is such a fabulous idea. I rarely buy perfume because I don’t know what I would like. This gives me a great way to experiment. Thanks for sharing!
I have heard of them and have contemplated trying them out. Seems like everyone is enjoying it.
I’ve thought of trying scentbird. Great info.
This is amazing! I’m such a lover of fragrance ( you should see my countertop!). I love the idea of “dating” a small portion of fragrance to see how it wears on you. I’ll definitely check this out!
I feel ya Tryphena! You and I are “Sisters in Scent” because my dresser and vanity are overflowing with fragrances!!!
I love that idea because I hate buying these expensive bottles of fragrances and I need to get my moneys worth. I buy about two fragrances at a time and I gotta make sure because I love my smell goods
I am a fragrance hoarder! You shouldn’t have told me about this :P!!! Love!
I used to work in Macy’s and OMG there are SO many perfumes to choose from. This is a really cool idea. I’m not much of a fragrance person, but I’ll definitely be sharing.
Wow there seems to be a subscription service for everything. I have a few favs that I enjoy wearing but I’m always open to a new fragrance. Great post!
Thanks for sharing! I didn’t know this service existed.
Wow, there really is a subscription service for everything! I don’t wear a lot of perfumes because it’s hard to find some that has all natural ingredients. But I have a few friends who absolutely love perfumes so will definitely pass on the info.
I know, right!!!
