Its mid-summer, and you know what that means—there are only a few weeks left to plan a quick summer getaway. Summers for me are all about spending time with the family and hitting the road for a much needed family vacation. But no summer would be complete without a little waterpark fun. Hey, its’ hot out there folks. So, when the temps get high, it’s time to head for the hills. Literally. Nestled in the beautiful Ozark Mountains is one of the coolest and wettest attractions, White Water waterpark. Located in Branson, MO, this 13-acre tropically-themed wet and wonderful water park features 2 million gallons of fun rides and attractions, from riveting to relaxing, and a splish splashin’ good ole’ time for the entire family! I had the pleasure of visiting White Water in Branson over the summer with my family and I must say that it is definitely a must-do when you’re in town. The attractions at White Water are so much fun!
Wanna splash around with the kiddies? Head over to kid-friendly Coconut Cove for endless hours of fun where little tykes spray and splash around while you watch–or join in! 🙂 Or splash away to the 20,000 square foot island adventure at Splashaway Cay for wet and wild fun on several water slides, aqua-shooters, exciting splash geysers, elevated walkways and a 150-foot long escape slide. Or, take the entire family for a scream-soaking spin on Ohana Falls or the Raging River Rapids. But if relaxing in the shade and catching a breeze or two is on your to-do, then beat-the-heat under one of the many shade-covered lounge areas. You can even opt for a more secluded spot in one of the park’s many private Cabanas.
But, if you’re looking for some heart-pumping fun, then White Water has plenty thrills to chill even the bravest adventurer.
Ready to plunge into the action? Head on up to the KaPau Plummet for a thrilling 245-foot drop on one of two dueling slides. Or you can test your bravery in a 4-way race high atop the 75 foot freefall at the Kalani Towers. Maybe you wanna catch a few rays on the waves. Well the Surf’s Up Wave Pool is waiting for you. But, beware when the bell rings because the fun gets deeper as 4 foot waves erupt for a surfin’ good time. Stick around after the sun goes down to enjoy a flick while you float into the night at Night Water.
From sunup to sundown White Water is the place for a splashtacular good time this summer. Surf on over to White Water waterpark in beautiful Branson for waves of splish-splashin’ summer fun!
