Vibe with a View | W Atlanta – Buckhead

The freshly updated W Atlanta – Buckhead retains a lot of its initial Southern charm, but with a fresh glam overlay this chic hotel has become one of the most in-demand places to dwell in upscale Buckhead. And with some of the world’s most coveted brands conveniently close by at sought after shopping spots like Phipps Plaza, Lenox Mall, and Shops at Buckhead, those looking for a little retail therapy (insert self here) can indulge to their heart’s content. The Buckhead neighborhood is by far the cities hottest destinations to “see and be seen”, so it’s no surprise that W Atlanta – Buckhead’s new look matches the chic, elevated vibe of the area. 

Upon entering the lobby of the newly renovated digs, guests quickly get a sense of the hotel’s undeniable charm. The mix of glam and luxy décor give the space a very eclectic ambiance that begs for a few snaps before check-in. A huge custom art installation by artist Chris Veal invites you to catch a few selfies courtesy of a Polaroid-style photo booth where Insta-worthy snaps can be shared in real-time! I’m ready for my closeup Mr Demille!!! I reeeally love swanky spaces, and W Atlanta – Buckhead has definitely dialed-up the style with the décor. Guests can vibe over cocktails on the velvet covered couches in the loungy LIVING ROOM that feels like it was plucked from a bygone era. The comfy café-style seating is accentuated by accessories with Mod nods. There’s even a vintage record player that “plays along” with the whole Mod theme. Super chic, amiright!

Artfully Crafted Cuisine

If you’re wanting to stir things up and indulge your taste buds, look no further than Cook Hall. Located inside the W Atlanta – Buckhead, this modern gastropub is set in a warm, wood-accented setting and features elevated comfort cuisine and cutely crafted cocktails. Guests can dine inside for a more intimate experience or outside on the patio complete with a fabulous fire pit so passersby can admire the ambiance from afar.

Nosh on creative bites like Deviled Eggs with smoked paprika pearls (yuuum), or pamper your palate with their Popcorn Shrimp that is literally perfectly prepared shrimp on top of popcorn y’all! Other crave-worthy eats include the Artisan Cheese & Local Charcuterie Board and the succulent Pan Seared Red Snapper that will easily induce food envy. Cook’s creative cocktails such as the Sundown Somewhere and Black Mountain Swizzle are a few standout sips that’ll definitely add sass to your sip selfies.

W Atlanta – Buckhead is focused on elegance, luxury and pampering – if you need a glam place to stay (or play) this is the hotel for you. Even pets get the pampered treatment at W Atlanta – Buckhead; they are welcomed with a deluxe bed, luxury bedding, treats and toys, and even turndown service. So now your pooch can be just as posh as you!

You can sense the W Atlanta – Buckhead’s passion for color, style and design, which is evident by the hotels extensive collection of local artworks and murals in guestrooms. While all of the onsite rooms are awash in style, color and local artwork, the WOW Suites are what makes W Atlanta – Buckhead truly stand above other hotels in the city. Enjoy incredible views overlooking bustling Buckhead, dramatic décor, and bold artwork inside oversized spaces that can easily accommodate small, elegant gatherings. Or, if you prefer more chill time, plush bedding and a spa-like bath provide a mini oasis to escape the day.

Further elevate your experience and level-up at the rooftop bar Whiskey Blue. Perched atop the W Atlanta – Buckhead boastings views fit for cocktails against the city skyline, Whiskey Blue is the ideal spot to catch a vibe. Inside, mix and mingle in posh surroundings in the beautifully appointed lounge, or take the party outside onto the two outdoor patios. Local Atlanta artist Chris Veal takes his talents to new heights courtesy of a long mural wall that welcomes party-goers as you enter the space from an all-glass elevator that ascends 125 feet high above the city’s skyline. The DJ driven atmosphere is electric and unlike any other in town. Signature sips and lite bites further provide patrons with a deliciously unforgettable experience.

High tech meeting spaces keep guests connected while WET, the sun soaking pool deck and FIT, the high end, luxuriously equipped gym give guests even more zones to play on their getaway. While W Atlanta – Buckhead has made a huge splash on the local community, hosting social gatherings and events for folks who live right here in the city, it also has great appeal for visitors, both those arriving for business and for pleasure.
