Beauty and makeup industry professionals alike converged at Krave Lounge in Atlanta for a premier book signing and release of Glam Executive: The Business of Beauty. The brainchild of Beauty Business Expert and The LOOK by Joi creator Joi Mebane, Glam Executive was created to be the ultimate resource for beauty professionals. Glam Executive is filled with a treasure trove of knowledge and advice aimed at those pursuing a career in the beauty industry. Standing strong on more than a decade of experience, Joi provides countless nuggets of wisdom as she addresses 10 of the most commonly asked questions that are posed to her.
Sponsored by Voscato, the event featured a one-on-one Q&A session hosted by Bo Talley. During the Q&A Joi was asked about her inspiration for writing “Glam Executive”. And while guests received invaluable insight from Joi, they were also treated to tasty sips and a fabulous custom cake designed to resemble the Glam Executive book courtesy of Soo Soo Tasty. Celebs spotted at the event included Derek J of Bravos TV’s Fashion Queens, and Mimi Faust of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.
