Atlanta’s First-Ever Rosé Picnic is happening

La Fête du Rosé Festival 2018

Did I have you at “rosé picnic?” Of course I did—the pink bubbly drink has become a staple in my summer sip lineup, and I know many of you are just as obsessed with the drink as I am!

So… you might be wondering: What’s this rosé picnic all about? Here are the vitals.

Bubbles, Bites, and Pink & White

La Fête du Rosé is Atlanta’s first-ever rosé-themed festival, and it will be taking place on Saturday, May 5, 2018, in the city’s historic Fourth Ward Park (680 Dallas St NE in Atlanta). Basically, there will be vendors onsite offering things like frosé, rosé champagne-infused gummy bears, and rosé-flavored cotton candy. But that’s not even the best part!

There will also be picnic baskets curated by Grammy Award-Winning artist Kelis Rogers (♫ My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard…♪). 😛 Did you know the singer is also a chef? She founded a French catering service called Bounty & Full, and now she’s sharing her talents with Atlanta’s chicest people.

In addition to the bubbles and bites, La Fête du Rosé will also feature live music, including headline performer DJ CASSIDY. Sounds like an absolute blast, right?!

There’s one more important detail you need to know about this fizzy fest—you’ve got to dress to impress. And you can’t wear just anything… You have to wear and pink and white! Similar to the Le Dîner en Blanc event for which we get all decked out in white, this festival is being thrown by the same organizers. Plus, you get to throw pink in the mix! La Fête du Rosé was inspired by NYC’s super-popular Pinknic, in case you’re curious.

But here’s the real question…

What to Wear?

Since not everyone has a stylish pink-and-white outfit just lying around… I thought it might be helpful to put together a few fab looks that would be perfect for this event. I’ve even included some looks for guys, because our plus-ones have to look just as good as we do, of course!

See below for my suggestions on what to wear to La Fête du Rosé. I can’t wait to see a sea of pink and white!

blush fashion inspirations

  1. Plunging V-Neck Chiffon Gown – Nordstrom ($84.00)
  2. Off the Shoulder Tiered Sleeve Dress – Nordstrom ($99.00)
  3. Rose Cold Shoulder High/Low Dress – Nordstrom ($145.00)

blush accessory inspirations

  1. Marty Drop Earrings In Ivory Pearl – Kendra Scott ($70.00)
  2. Raffia Pom Pom Ring Tote – Henri Bendel ($278.00)
  3. Kacey Long Pendant Necklace In Blush Pearl – Kendra Scott ($75.00)

Hey, I’m picking out my chic pink ensemble as we speak! 😀 I hope you can come out and share a few sips with me on Saturday, May 5th!

Lastly… If you noticed this event falls on the same day as both Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby—worry not about missing out. The organizers have already thought of this! There will be a derby viewing area, plus rosé-inspired tequila cocktails. You’re all covered.

A full entertainment lineup will be announced in the coming weeks, but you can learn more and snag your tickets right now at rosepicnicatl.com. Let’s party in pink!!!

This sounds like a fun event. I do not live anywhere near Atlanta so I cannot wait to see the pictures that you have after this event. It’ll be fun to see who really get to do this and how much pink and white is worn.
