2016 Kia Optima: A Work of Art

Every woman loves to be treated like a queen… And until now, we always had to drop subtle hints: “Ooooh, don’t you just love that necklace?” and “Aren’t those the cutest shoes, hun?”

But what if I told you that you didn’t need to rely on anyone else in order to get the royal treatment? Meet the brand new 2016 Kia Optima. This luxurious mid-sized marvel has all your best interests in mind… And it takes care of you without you even having to ask. Like having you very own personal concierge at your finger tips. With a personalized approach and plenty of pizzazz, the 2016 Kia Optima is nothing short of fabulous. And at a modest price (MSRP $35,790 – SX Limited) this chic sedan is far less than a kings ransom. Does it sound fit for a queen or what? 😀

I had the pleasure of taking my ‘personal concierge’ out for a spin, and I was not disappointed. For starters when you approach the Optima, it “greets” you by lighting up. Literally! Talk about ‘Hello!’ And when you’ve got your hands full of shopping bags, stand behind the Optima, and the Smart Trunk will open for you! And get this… The side mirrors also fold by themselves, making sure no city side-swiping happens. How chic is that?!

Once you’re in the driver’s seat, you won’t want to get up. You’ll notice right away the soft quilted Nappa leather seats that make morning drives feel like you never got out of bed. And then there’s the super chic features designed to make your life much easier and a lot more fun. You can even choose which driving mode suits your fancy: Normal, Eco or Sport. Can you guess which one I chose? The “Fun” mode of course! 😉

And for those who need to stay connected, the 2016 Optima has you covered thanks to Kia’s UVO eServices system. With Android Auto, you can use some of the main features of your Android smart phone through the display. Another hands-free feature making for a safe ride is the Voice-Command Navigation System, which shows you real-time highway conditions courtesy of SiriusXm® Traffic. Perfect for those days when you just can’t spare a minute!

And don’t worry about your phone’s battery going dead while on-the-go, because there’s a wireless charging tray to keep you fully charged. Another helpful feature is the Surround View Monitor, which offers an all-around camera view from four cameras, providing a true “bird’s eye” view of the vehicle’s surroundings in real-time.

The 2016 Kia Optima is truly a work of art, and that’s why I decided to take it for a spin around Atlanta, stopping at some of the many murals that dot the city. After all, when you’ve got a panoramic sunroof at your fingertips, you get a whole new perspective!

I just loved cruising around in the 2016 Kia Optima. Not only for its smooth performance and sleek style, but because of the way it catered to my mobile needs! It was truly like having your own personal concierge at your service, and that’s definitely something I can get used to. 😉

I’m not in the market for a car. However, the Kia is pretty beautiful! Maybe next time…

That looks like such a fun car to drive! We need a new car…but a much larger one that fits three car seats 🙂 I love the cameras! I could definitely use those.

Wow some great artwork you have there on the streets! Amazing artists! We test drove a few cars when we bought my CRV in 2014 and it was so much fun comparing them all. But the Honda won out for our family/needs.
