The Avenue East Cobb Hosts Exclusive Shopping Experience

Recently I was invited to join a few fellow blogging beauties to embark on an exclusive VIP tour of The Avenue, an outdoor open-air shopping plaza that offers a dynamic mix of premier national retailers, select local merchants and specialty restaurants reflective of local demand and fashion trends. Let me tell ya that there’s nothing more exciting than a day full of fashion, food, and fun, and The Avenue knew just how to pour on the pampering. We had a glam-packed day exploring the awesome shops and restaurants their East Cobb location offers while participating in several fashion-filled adventures along the way. Here are the deets on our glam-tastic day…

Upon our arrival, we were already treated like celebs – there was a mini photo shoot area perfectly prepared for picture posing. Once we snapped some quick pics, our tour was off to a fabulous start. First we taunted our taste buds at Brixx Wood-Fired Oven Pizza, trying flavorful, wood-fired appetizers and delicious desserts, which gave us enough energy to start some styling at our next stop.

We then headed over to Ann Taylor Loft… Which was my favorite part of the tour. Why? Well, we had the chance to preview the retailers’ Fall 2015 trends, and then – the best part – there was a style-off contest. The challenge presented a pair of slacks that were to be used as a base, then, we had to use our style-savvy skills to craft an outfit around them. Well, guess who won?! Yup, I did! And my prize was a stunning suede bucket bag that just so happens to be the perfect piece to kick off my Fall fashion. 😀

All that winning – I mean styling – got me super excited, so it was a good thing we were headed to barre3 next to learn how fashion and fitness go hand-in-hand. barre3 shared how their workouts balances ballet barre technique with yoga and pilates, which I hear is one of the hottest fitness trends this year.

Next on the itinerary (I warned you it was a glam-packed day!) was a stop at Williams-Sonoma where we enjoyed a refreshing and well-deserved specialty cocktail called the Moscow Mule. We also indulged in other deelish delights while learning coveted culinary ques. Hey, did you know that Williams-Sonoma offers in-home consultation to help you fit the perfect furnishings within your space? How fab is that?!

The rejuvenation continued as we headed to Hand & Stone Facial and Massage Spa to receive a “behind the spa” experience along with much needed pampering paired with a full-service voucher to use next time.

Once we were refreshed, it was back to fashion! We visited Versona boutique where we used our fashion foresight to style a Fall trend, earning designer-inspired insight and a beautiful necklace as a keepsake!

Since we spent all day working up an appetite, it was perfect that our last stop of the tour took us to a cool restaurant concept, Cheeky. We got to try their creative pour-your-own beer taps right at your table! We also saved a few taste buds for their yummy cocktails and light bites.

And even though our tour of The Avenue East Cobb had sadly come to an end, there were still a couple more activities on tap: We participated in a parting video interview, picked up thoughtful gift bags, and were surprised with special giveaways!

I had an uh-mazing time touring all the shops on our adventure at The Avenue and would suggest a visit so you can experience it for yourself. I’m definitely headed back for a re-do. After all, there are a few more shops that are calling my name! 😉
