As the country prepares to celebrate the nation’s birthday, Pure Horse Play, a premiere equestrian center in Atlanta announces their 1st Annual Independence Day Outdoor Concert. The outdoor specialty event will take place on Saturday July 5th on Pure Horse Play’s 13 acre property complete with with vendors, face painters, kiddie games, firework show, a concert, and of course horseback riding. Pure Horse Play is Atlanta’s newest equestrian facility offering services from horseback riding lessons to romantic sunset picnics for couples. Owner Michelle Phillips, who runs the facility with her four daughters, says the outdoor family focused event is a gesture of customer appreciation and of course a great way to introduce newbies to the horseback riding experience. “Our facility promotes a family environment and we try to give people the opportunity to get an up close and personal experience with the horses. “We’ve had amazing feedback so far and we’re looking to welcome new riders every day!”
The main event concert will showcase some of Atlanta’s hottest talent; opening with the sassy self-proclaimed Princess of Suburban Misfits, Kissie Lee performing her buzz-driven single, “Shout to my Ex”. Next up is Latina songbird Cristina Quinones known for her high energy performances, Cristina has been featured on BET, MTV and many more. She is a regional favorite and a highly anticipated addition to the lineup. Headliners include hot new girl group Havok Jones. The wild, crazy, weird, fun, classy, lady-like combination of talent has just begun their voyage to the top. Closing out the night is Epic Records R&B soul crooner Curtis Fields. The young artist got his big break when he performed in front of A & R VP of Epic Records Ray Daniels. From then he was signed to Epic Records and has perform his hit single “Opposites Attract” on the 2013 BET Awards only using his iPhone and various shows like The View and The Queen Latifah Show. Fields brings a new sound to R & B through technology.
