Sprouts Hosts Cooking Class with Food Network Star Chef Tregaye Fraser

Food Network Star & Chef Tregaye Fraser

Do you ever wonder what it would feel like to be on a food competition show? I feel like every time I turn on Food Network, I’m all riled up about all the creative dishes being whipped up.

Well I recently got to fulfill a fun dream of mine—and while I wasn’t on a food show, I sure as heck felt like it! (And that’s all that matters, right?) I recently had the amazing opportunity to learn how to cook some of my absolute favorite seafood dishes with Food Network Star Chef Tregaye Fraser. I, along with my squad, the Atlanta Food & Lifestyle Bloggers Society, got to meet the inspiring Chef Fraser. She won Season 12 of Food Network Star and has been on Guy’s Grocery Games, and her new show, The Kitchen Sink, is starting soon! It was awesome to meet her. Continue Reading…

The Little Blue Box Brunch is one of my favorite events of the year for many reasons. One reason has to do with all our fabulous sponsors and participants that make this event even more special. Another reasons is the fact that I get to brunch with so many beautiful babes. Oh, and we get to get all glammed up to give back, something that is so dear to my heart.

This year was the fifth year of LBBB, and I’m delighted to say that it just keeps on getting better with age! And for the fifth year in a row, Swan Coach House graciously allowed us to take over for the event. I just can’t get enough of that beautiful place!

So, here’s how the day unfolded… Continue Reading…

Red Phone Booth: A Prohibition Experience

Red Phone Booth Atlanta

Imagine this… It’s the Roaring 20’s. The music is swingin and jazz is jumpin, but, Prohibition is the order of the day. What this means is that alcohol is prohibited. Banned. Illegal. Can you imagine not being able to belly up to your favorite bar and order your go-to sip? It’s crazy when you really think about it.

Since alcohol drinking was banned, you had to be very, very secretive if you wanted to partake in a few sips. To enjoy your favorite spirits you had to visit a “secret place,” a speakeasy as they called it. And it was all by word-of-mouth… Absolutely no mention of this underground establishment to anyone; only those who knew, knew. It was real hush hush…

Enter Red Phone Booth. A modern-day speakeasy where you can enjoy chic cocktails over great conversation, all set in Prohibition-era style. (And without worry of the lawman breaking up the party) 🙂 At Red Phone Booth, you don’t have to imagine what this experience would be like… you can experience it yourself! RPB has created a super authentic ‘20s-era lounge that really plays into the Prohibition era. And it’s oh-so fabulous darling!!!! Continue Reading…
