L.K. Bennett to host shopping event to benefit The Sport of Giving

L.K. Bennett London - The Sport of Giving

L.K. Bennett along with Nicole Jones and Chantel Watkins of HONESTY Jewelry, are set to host a shopping benefit in honor of The Sport of Giving. The Sport of Giving is a grassroots effort to support women’s cancer care and prevention through a multitude of special fundraising events (sporting and non-sporting events) for both men and women. These fundraising events also offer the perfect platform to raise awareness and support for those who are impacted by cancer.

This ‘open to the public’ benefit shopping event will take place on Tuesday, October 29th at L.K. Bennett’s retail shop located inside Phipps Plaza. Guests will enjoy champagne, light bites, and discounts throughout the night with 10% of the proceeds to benefit The Sport of Giving. The event will also feature a special trunk show by HONESTY Jewelry where guests will preview a collection of the jeweler’s most cherished pieces. I’m honored to attend this wonderful event to show my support for The Sport of Giving. I’m also looking forward to checking out L.K. Bennett’s fabulous fall collection and to do a little LOT of shopping. Honestly speaking, for me it’s just simple arithmetic…

About The Sport of Giving

The Sport of Giving is a 501(C)(3), non-profit foundation that helps support Women’s Cancer Care and Prevention on the community level through a multitude of special fundraising avenues (sporting and non-sporting events) for men and women. The Sport of Giving originated in North Metro Atlanta as “Volley For a Cure” in 2001 by founder Sheila Stevens, who wanted to make a difference in people’s lives while honoring the spirit of her mother who had succumbed to cancer. In 2009 The Sport of Giving made the step to bring the organization to a national level – helping communities around the country hold similar fundraising events to raise money to fund local women’s cancer care and prevention initiatives.
