Fashion Fix Monday Mixup: Floral Fetish

Fashion Fix Monday Mixup Floral Fetish

Hey Style Setters!

It’s time for another Mah-velous Monday Mixup! For this week’s Fashion Fix I decided to celebrate the recent string of great weather with an all over floral ensemble. I absolutely LUV the springtime, and nothing embodies Spring like flowers and lots of color. This look is just the thing to usher in the season and also curb my floral fetish which is on trend for Spring fashion.

The location for the shoot was chosen for its unique and abstract setting. I wanted to showcase my look against a rugged backdrop so that it stood out and I found the perfect spot in downtown Marietta, Georgia. This historic area called Marietta Station features century-old buildings, a rustic railway, and plenty of spots for photo ops (hey, that rhymes). With its brick, metals, and cobblestone all around, the architecture made me feel as if I were a flower blooming in the desert. The contrast between the soft look and the rough backdrop really made my style stand out.

Ok, so here are the deets… My dress is a Retro Floral Fit & Flair from Forever 21 ($22.80) and features an all-over floral print with white contrast piping on the neck waist and shoulders. I went with a White Bauble Necklace from Fabrik Boutique ($10) for my statement neckwear which looked stunning against the blue print dress. The arm candy is Forever 21 ($6) and finger rings are from H&M ($12), while the earrings are Ashley Stewart ($10.50). My fabulous Metallic Fold-over Clutch was gifted by Charming Charlie. And last but not least I satisfied my foot fetish with a pair of haute heels from DSW ($23.99 clearance). So what do you think?

Now, I bet you wanna know if I was railroaded at the register… Well, my budget was definitely on track and I only racked up a total of $85.29 for the entire look. Haute and under $100… leaves you with a little lot of extra weight freight in your wallet for another shopping haul. 😉
