It’s no secret that I love to check out new spaces and places, and to also meet new faces. But with four kids at home (er, young adults as they call themselves these days) it’s always a challenge to sneak away with hubby to check out new finds around town. So when I was invited to a fabulous couples brunch, I (we) couldn’t wait to go and check it out! The event was hosted by Great Date Deals at the newly opened Organix Lounge in downtown Atlanta. The couple brunch featured live music, yummy eats, tasty treats, and mimosas that were simply delish. We had a wonderful time mixing and mingling with the other couples who also “snuck” out for the day. 😉
In keeping with the theme of this event (great deals) I decided to rock a few pieces that were “great deals.” I scored this “thrifted” floral print skirt and jacket for $6 a piece!!! What a “deal” right?! I also picked up this cute necklace from Aldo ($10), a pair of fab heels from Bakers (snagged these babies for $18 during their closeout sale…whoohoo!), and a sassy ring ($4) from one of my fave accessory shops Charming Charlie. Oh, and both of my bracelets ($2) were thrifted also! Can u say great deals?!!! My purse is a Marc Jacobs piece that I picked up waaaay back during my splurging days which was actually a pretty good deal at the time. Ahh…the memories… So what do you think?
We had a really great time at the couples brunch and look forward to doing this more often.
