Fashionably brought to you by Simon Malls
The turtleneck has been around as a staple for as long as I can remember. Recently, turtlenecks have been making a big splash in the world of fashion as a trend that isn’t just for layering anymore. I’ve seen lots of people beginning to raise their necklines in agreement that this trend is definitely something to try this winter season.

Some of you might not yet be sold on this trend and think it could be a little bit dated. However, thanks to the fashion gods, we have found ways to bring the turtleneck up to speed so we can rock this trend with a little twist. No matter what your personal style, I’m sure you can find someway to work the turtleneck into your wardrobe. If you aren’t ready to go completely against the grain, just start off with a classic turtleneck thrown over jeans, leggings, or even a skirt with some tights. Another cute way I’ve seen people wearing the turtleneck is as a crop top. Lots of celebs have been seen on the red carpet wearing high-waisted skirts and cropped turtlenecks, a fresh and young way to wear the turtleneck. If you want all in on this trend, then try a turtleneck dress! It adds some extra warmth perfect for this time of year, and can be worn so many different ways.
